Unique Jewelry Such As an Armor Ring Is Now Becoming Known As The Ideal Fashion Accessory

Until recently an armor ring has sat quietly in the jewelry fashion background but, with the likes of Vivienne Westwood discovering them and taking something already unique and different and putting her own very quirky spin on the designs, they seem to have been thrust into the limelight and really taken off.

As a piece of jewelry an armor ring has to be seen to be fully appreciated. They are a stunning finger adornment that are not for the faint hearted and should be worn with attitude, for sure. In fact, if I am totally honest they kind of allow you to own and wear them. They seem to ooze a quiet mystery and charisma as if you are the one who is privileged, almost.

Perhaps it is because they evoke images of knights of old and the grandeur of days gone by when a man had to fight for his woman and she needed protecting and with other names such as medieval ring and gothic ring, it is easy to see why. They are not stereotypical of any old ring that is for sure.

Visually impactive they cover from the base of the finger to just under your nail bed or second knuckle depending on the style that you decide on. With both intricate and delicate as well as robust and rugged designs and styles they really are unisex in appeal and make for a breath taking finger decoration.

Generally fashioned in 2 or 3 pieces of either pewter or sterling silver, they are jointed in the same way as your own finger which makes them very comfortable and easy to wear. Although they give the appearance of possibly being heavy and chunky it is very much an illusion as they are in fact light weight because of the flexibility and workability of the metals used. They are no different from wearing a stereotypical ring in that way.

The biggest difference I have noticed with these fantastic bits of jewelry is the amount of interest they generate when wearing one. The usual run of the mill rings I own certainly never attracted so many comments or questions for sure. With things like, what is it? And where can I get one? I am sure that even if I was wearing a rock of huge proportions I would not get bombarded with so many questions.

So, round and boring they are not but, totally unique and inspirational they definitely are and if you are looking to express yourself in a very individually stylish way, then prepare to be blown away by what you see. The other amazing thing is how inexpensive I have found them to be. The amount of craftsmanship that obviously goes into them is certainly not reflected in the price, which is just great because with such an array to choose from it can be a little difficult to settle on one particular design.
